NAPA, CA (July 29, 2021) – Police arrested Amy Thomas following a DUI accident on West Imola Avenue on July 22.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Cabot Way shortly after 7:30 PM.
 
Based on reports, 45-year-old Amy Carol Thomas of Napa was driving a sport-utility vehicle westbound on Maroa at the time of the crash. Then, she crossed the median lane. Then, she struck an eastbound van, causing the van to spin and come to rest facing the wrong way.
 
As a result, the driver of the van sustained injuries. Paramedics took the victim to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.
 
In the end, officers arrested and booked Thomas into the Napa County jail on suspicion of causing injury by driving under the influence.
