Amy Adams Dies by BART Train at Powell Street Station near Market Street

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 15, 2021) — Amy Adams died Monday afternoon after being dragged and killed by a BART train at Powell Street Station near Market Street.
 
According to authorities, the tragic incident happened around 3:15 p.m. For reasons that require further investigation, a BART train that 41-year-old Adams off-boarded dragged and killed her at the Powell Street Station.
 
In the investigation, authorities learned that she had a dog attached to her waist. However, as she fully disembarked, reportedly waving at someone, the dog remained inside the train. Subsequently, the train took off and dragged and pulled Admas onto the track. Tragically, she died from the event and the dog survived.
 
At this time, the accident requires further investigation. However, anyone with more information on this incident should contact BART officials who are working with the National Transportation Safety Board.
