Amit Singh Dies After Car Crashes Into Tree, House on Castro Lane at Mission Boulevard

 
FREMONT, CA (December 13, 2024) — Amit Singh died Wednesday night after a car crashed into a tree and a house on Castro Lane at Mission Boulevard.
 
According to the Fremont Police Department, the car crash happened around 10:25 p.m. Upon receiving a call, officers responded and found a car that struck a tree. The BMW also slammed into the side of the house and severed a water main line.
 
At least one person passed away in the accident, and the Alameda County Coroner’s office identified the victim as 33-year-old Singh, of Fremont. They have yet to release the second victim’s identity.
 
Authorities said the crash totaled the car, splitting it into two, and took out the garage door and siding. Crews spent much of the day fixing the damage to the house, where fortunately no one was hurt.
 
The Fremont Police Department is investigating the ultimate cause of the accident. If anyone has information, contact the police.
