America Rojas-Abrajan Dies in Pedestrian Crash on New Los Angeles Avenue near Highway 23

 
MOORPARK, CA (October 14, 2021) — America Rojas-Abrajan died in a pedestrian accident on New Los Angeles Avenue near Highway 23 Tuesday.
 
According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 9:13 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck 22-year-old Rojas-Abrajan in one of the traffic lanes. As a result, the Moorpark woman suffered grave injuries in the crash.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the Moorpark Police Department has no information on the details of this accident, including the cause and if the accident happened in a crosswalk. However, any witnesses with information should contact the police.
