25-Year-Old Amanda Tilton Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Twentynine Palms

 
TWENTYNINE PALMS, CA (April 8, 2021) – Amanda Tilton died in a pedestrian accident Thursday last week in Twentynine Palms.
 
On April 1 at 8:27 p.m., deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to Twentynine Palms Highway near Estrella Avenue in front of Rite Aid to investigate a report of a pedestrian crash.
 
Upon arrival, they found the 25-year-old Twentynine Palms resident suffering from major injuries. Paramedics rushed Tilton to Hi-Desert Medical Center, where she died at 9:20 p.m.
 
The involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
Further investigation is underway.
