Alfredo Linares and Jose Linares Dead in Pedestrian Crash on Roberston Boulevard near 25th Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 10, 2022) — Alfredo Linares and Jose Linares died in a pedestrian accident on Robertson Boulevard near 25th Street.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
 
The brothers — said to be landscapers in their mid-70s who had just stopped at a nearby donut store — were crossing a pedestrian crosswalk in the 2500 block of South Robertson Boulevard. Subsequently, a driver of a white vehicle struck them under unclear circumstances.
 
Reports say a third brother who was with him at the time survived the incident.
 
The driver pulled over, and paramedics and police arrived at the scene soon after. Despite efforts to save them, however, paramedics pronounced the pair dead at the scene.
 
In the investigation, authorities ruled out impairment as a factor in the crash. However, the case remains under investigation. If anyone would like to help the family, a GoFundMe page has been created.
