Alexander Bond Killed in Motorcycle Crash on 5 Freeway near Highway 198

FRESNO COUNTY, CA (August 4, 2022) — Alexander Bond died in a motorcycle accident on the 5 Freeway near Highway 198.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle accident happened on Saturday. For unknown reasons, 62-year-old Bond was lane splitting between two vehicles, a legal move in California for motorcyclists. However, he lost control when his northbound Harley-Davidson clipped a car. Subsequently, an oncoming tractor-trailer rolled over him, causing him fatal injuries.
