Alex McGuigle Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Swift Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Rider Dies after Hitting Car on Swift Avenue at 9th Street

 
FRESNO, CA (March 15, 2022) – Alex McGuigle was killed in a motorcycle accident in northeast Fresno on Sunday evening.
 
The accident happened just after 10:00 p.m. on March 13 at Swift Avenue and 9th Street. According to the Fresno Police Department, McGuigle was riding his motorcycle at a high rate of speed on the residential street when he slammed into a truck parked in the area.
 
Responding officers found him unconscious on the street. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
 
McGuigle was a 32-year-old Fresno resident. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
 
It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol was a factor. The crash is still under investigation.
