Alex Espinosa Arrested for DUI after Two-Car Crash on Bridge Street in Visalia

 
VISALIA, CA (March 8, 2021) – Officers arrested Alex Espinosa, 32, following a DUI accident on Bridge Street on March 6.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the intersection of Acequia Avenue around 7:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, Espinosa was driving a Chevrolet Cruze north on Bridge Street approaching Acequia Avenue at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he blew through the intersection without stopping and slammed into a Chevrolet Sonic. Subsequently, his car then hit the corner of a movie theater.
 
As a result, three children in the Sonic were hurt in the incident. Crews sent the victims to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with minor injuries.
 
After evaluation, police booked Espinosa into Tulare County Pretrial Facility on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing an injury traffic accident.
