Albert Roman III, Nathaniel Stetson Detained, Richard Alvarez Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Crash
JAMESTOWN, CA (March 25, 2021) — Albert Roman III was arrested in a hit-and-run accident on Chicken Ranch Road near Highway 108 Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 3:50 p.m. For unknown reasons, a 2005 Mercedes, driven by Roman, was traveling at a high rate of speed. Subsequently, the Mercedes veered off the road, traveled up an embankment and overturned on top of a 2001 Mercedes.
Roman of Oakdale, 19-year-old Nathaniel Stetson of Ceres, and a 16-year-old female from Oakdale left the scene. However, CHP officers found them nearby.
As a result of the accident, police arrested all three for felony hit-and-run and other charges. According to reports, 60-year-old Floyd Johnson Jr. evaded injury but his 69-year-old passenger, Richard Alvarez, suffered injuries.
