Aeneas McClain Killed in High-Speed Crash on Blackstone Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Speeding Teen Driver Dies after Crashing into Two Pickup Trucks in Central Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (February 15, 2023) – Aeneas McClain died in a high-speed crash in Central Fresno Monday afternoon on January 13.
 
The fatal crash happened around 1:30 p.m. in the area of Blackstone Avenue and San Jose Avenue. According to the Fresno Police Department, McClain was driving a Dodge Charger at a high rate of speed when he struck a red pickup truck. The impact caused the Charger to spin into the southbound lanes of Blackstone Avenue, where it struck a black pickup.
 
Both the black pickup and the Charger came to rest at the southwest corner of San Jose and Blackstone avenues.
 
McClain suffered fatal major injuries and died at the hospital. He was 18 years old from Fresno.
 
The other two drivers only sustained minor injuries. One was transported to the hospital for treatment.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor. An investigation is ongoing.
