Ventura Woman Dies in Two-Car Accident at Gonzales Road and Victoria Avenue

 
OXNARD, CA (May 3, 2021) Adrianne Wilson was killed in a two-car accident Thursday evening in Oxnard, police said.
 
The accident happened around 9:45 p.m. on April 29 at the intersection of Gonzales Road and Victoria Avenue. According to the Oxnard Police Department, the 37-year-old Ventura woman was driving a 2008 Nissan Altima eastbound on Gonzales. At the same time, a 2019 Dodge Durango was heading westbound on Gonzales when the driver attempted to turn left onto southbound Victoria.
 
For unknown reasons, the vehicles collided in the intersection.
 
Responding paramedics rushed Wilson to Ventura County Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office.
 
A 31-year-old Oxnard woman driving the Durango was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
 
At this time, it is unclear if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
