Adolfo Dominguez Detained in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash at Bunny Avenue and Broadway

 
SANTA MARIA, CA (March 23, 2023) — Adolfo Dominguez was arrested in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at Bunny Avenue and Broadway.
 
According to reports, the hit-and-run happened around 7:40 p.m. Monday. Upon responding, officers found an adult male with moderate injuries. Paramedics brought him to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment.
 
Investigators at the scene canvassed the area for clues as to what happened. They determined that the adult male was walking on a sidewalk when a car pulling out of a parking lot struck him. Subsequently, the pedestrian was dragged several feet after being run over.
 
With the help of surveillance footage, officers located the vehicle at a trailer park on North Broadway and arrested 48-year-old Adolfo Zafra Dominguez.
 
Officers have him booked into the Santa Barbara North County Jail for felony hit-and-run and driving without a license. No other information on this crash was available, but we will update this report once we receive new details.
