TULARE, CA (August 26, 2021) Adam Hernandez faces charges after hitting a patrol car near Inyo Avenue and M Street Sunday night.

According to police, the incident happened around 8:15 p.m. For drug-related reasons, Hernandez made an abrupt turn from Inyo Avenue and crashed into a patrol vehicle.

Per reports, a police sergeant was sitting in the patrol vehicle that was backed into a parking space against the Tulare Police Department building.

Subsequently, Hernandez and his female passenger exited the vehicle. The sergeant then ordered both of them to get on the ground, to which the woman responded. However, Hernandez failed to comply and had appeared to be holding something in the back of his hand.
