Motorcyclist Dies after Colliding with Truck on Washington Boulevard in Santa Fe Springs

 
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA (May 25, 2021) – Adam Derek Espinoza was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Santa Fe Springs early Monday morning, May 24.
 
The accident happened around 1:15 a.m. in the 11700 block of Washington Boulevard. According to the Whittier police, Espinosa was riding on his motorcycle eastbound when he swerved off the roadway for unknown reasons. He then collided with a stake-bed truck.
 
As a result, Espinoza suffered significant injuries and died at the scene. He was a 36-year-old Whitter resident, the coroner’s office said.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
