Abraham Rodriguez Dead after Motorcycle Accident on Railroad Canyon Road near Tassel Way

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (August 10, 2021) — A 56-year-old Lake Elsinore man identified as Abraham Rodriguez died in a motorcycle crash.
 
The fatal crash took place on Railroad Canyon Road near Tassel Way on Monday, August 2.
 
Riverside Sheriff’s Sergeant Brad Foster said that deputies and other emergency personnel responded to the scene around 11 p.m.
 
Officers arrived within minutes and found a single motorcycle that hit a curb and light pole. The impact ejected the rider, Foster said.
 
Cal Fire paramedics pronounced the rider, Rodriguez, dead at the scene at around 11:11 p.m.
 
The Lake Elsinore Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team responded to the crash site and investigated the fatal crash. They determined Rodriguez moved eastbound on Railroad Canyon Road at a high rate of speed before the crash.
 
Foster said that they have not yet determined if alcohol and or drugs contributed to the incident.
 
The Sheriff’s investigation of the collision is still underway.
