Abraham Hinojosa-Mercado Dead, Jose Gonzalez Survives 2-Car Crash on Hesperia Road near Ottawa Street

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (February 27, 2023) — Abraham Hinojosa-Mercado died in a 2-car accident on Hesperia Road near Ottawa Street Saturday night.
 
According to the San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies, the two-vehicle collision happened around 10:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, 19-year-old Hinojosa-Mercado drove his northbound silver Nissan Sentra into the southbound lane, crashing into a southbound white Nissan Altima.
 
Hinojosa-Mercado, of Victorville, died from his injuries in the crash. Meanwhile, the other driver, 32-year-old Jose Gonzalez of Victorville, stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
