Pedro Ramirez Arrested, Abraham Garcia Hurt in Red Bluff DUI Accident

 
RED BLUFF, CA (April 15, 2021) — A man identified as 32-year-old Abraham Carrillo Garcia of Corning was injured in a DUI crash on Sunday.
 
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Omar Valdez, at around 12:25 a.m., Pedro Castro Ramirez of Red Bluff drove northbound a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle on Highway 99W south of Sunbright Avenue. Then, due to his level of impairment, he swerved his car to the left and crashed head-on with a parked big rig.
 
Garcia, who is a passenger in Ramirez’s vehicle, suffered injuries. Medical responders brought him to St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff for treatment.
 
Ramirez also suffered injuries in the incident. After being medically cleared, officers arrested him. They booked him into the Tehama County Jail on suspicion of felony driving under the influence causing bodily injury.
