Coroner Identifies Aaron Rhoades as Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Van in Lakeview

 
LAKEVIEW, CA (April 5, 2021) – Authorities identified the motorcyclist killed in a collision with a van in the unincorporated community of Lakeview Saturday morning.
 
He was 45-year-old Aaron Rhoades of Idyllwild, according to the Riverside County coroner’s office.
 
The crash happened at 8:06 a.m. on April 3 at Gilman Springs Road and Bridge Street. The Riverside County Fire Department said Rhoades was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a passenger van.
 
Rhoades suffered fatal injuries after the crash. As a result, he died at the scene.
 
No other injuries reported, officers said. However, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the ultimate cause of the crash and factors involved.
