Shuttle-Bus Accident at Los Angeles International Airport Injures Nine Passengers

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 26, 2022) – Nine people were injured in a shuttle bus accident on the lower roadway of Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday afternoon, July 21.
 
The accident happened around 12:20 p.m. near Terminal 1 at LAX, which serves Southwest Airlines. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the shuttle bus had crashed for unknown reasons.
 
There were 24 people – including the driver – aboard.
 
Responding paramedics transported a total of nine people to a hospital. Seven of them suffered minor injuries while two people had serious injuries.
 
No one was trapped in the crash, and the shuttle did not catch fire.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
