BALDWIN PARK, CA (March 28, 2022) — An elderly woman was hit and killed by a motorcycle at Pacific Avenue and Puente Avenue on Thursday.
 
According to Baldwin Park Police, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 6:28 a.m. For unknown reasons, a West Covina man in his 60s, operating a motorcycle westbound, struck the 86-year-old woman in a marked crosswalk.
 
As a result, the woman suffered severe injuries and died later at the scene. Shortly after, paramedics and detectives responded and began analyzing the details of the crash.
 
At this time, officers have not released information as to what led to the accident or the ultimate liability. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm this news.
