HAYWARD, CA (November 17, 2021) — Daoud Marzi died in a pedestrian accident on Calaroga Avenue and Southgate Street on Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the Hayward Police Department, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred around 4:10 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of an unknown a make and model struck 86-year-old Marzi.
 
Shortly after, emergency personnel reached the scene and brought him to a hospital where he died shortly after. Meanwhile, police interviewed the seemingly uninjured driver, who cooperated with the police.
