84-year-old Erna Egli Dies in Pedestrian Crash near Fillmore Street and Chestnut Street

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 28, 2022) — Erna Egli has died from her injuries days after a pedestrian accident near Fillmore Street and Chestnut Street.
 
According to Walk San Francisco, the fatal pedestrian accident happened on March 10. For unknown reasons, a driver struck 84-year-old Egli as she walked near Fillmore Street and Chestnut Street.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, Egli suffered severe injuries and remained hospitalized until she succumbed to her wounds on March 17.
