Paul Pelosi Arrested in DUI Car Accident on Highway 29 [Napa County, CA]

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Husband, Paul Pelosi, Charged with DUI Car Crash in Napa County

 
NAPA, CA (May 31, 2022) — 82-year-old Paul Pelosi faces charges in a DUI car accident on Highway 29 near Oakville on Saturday.
 
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, was arrested at 11:44 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or higher, according to the Napa County public booking report. Both charges are misdemeanors.
 
According to police reports, Pelosi tried to drive across Highway 29 when his 2021 Porsche collided with a 2014 Jeep traveling northbound on the road, driven by a 48-year-old Calistoga man.
 
Pelosi was subsequently charged with the two misdemeanors. However, on Sunday morning, Pelosi was bailed out of the Napa County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
 
At the time, California Highway Patrol did not identify either driver as being at fault in the crash.
 
The crash is under investigation. However, anyone with information should contact the CHP.
