8 Hospitalized in Watsonville 3-Car Crash on Highway 152

 
WATSONVILLE, CA (February 22, 2022) — Eight people suffered moderate injuries in a car accident on Highway 152 near Holohan Road on Sunday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-car crash occurred around 4:15 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in an eastbound 2021 Porsche Cayenne swerved into the westbound lane and collided with a westbound 2006 Chevy Silverado. As a result, the Chevy collided with a 2016 Mazda CX-5.
 
Shortly after, three ambulances responded to the scene and transported eight patients. Per reports, six of them sought care at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas and the others at Watsonville Community Hospital.
 
At this time, police have made no arrests in the crash. However, police will confirm the details of this crash following an investigation.
