2 Critically Injured in Galt Car Accident on Twin Cities Road near Cherokee Lane

 
GALT, CA (February 2, 2022) – Eight people sustained injuries in a car accident on Twin Cities Road, Tuesday afternoon.
 
According to the Cosumnes Fire Department, the incident happened on February 1 at about 4:00 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, two vehicles collided near the area of Twin Cities Road and Cherokee Lane.
 
As per reports, eight people were transported to local trauma centers for treatment of unspecified injuries. Responders later confirmed that at least two people sustained critical injuries. The conditions of the other victims remain unknown.
 
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
