Man Fatally Struck in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Camino Santa Fe near Miramar Road

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 20, 2021) — A 77-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on Camino Santa Fe on Wednesday, December 15.
 
According to San Diego police Officer John Buttle, the crash occurred shortly before 5:40 p.m. on Camino Santa Fe near Miramar Road.
 
The victim walked east across Camino Santa Fe. Then a vehicle headed north struck him, Buttle said.
 
The other details of the incident were not immediately determined.
 
Medics administered CPR on the victim at the crash site. Then they rushed him to a hospital, where he died.
 
Officials have not yet released his name.
 
Authorities said the involved driver is a 63-year-old man.
 
The investigation of the incident is still ongoing.
