76-Year-Old Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Springdale Street in Huntington Beach

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (June 10, 2022) — A 76-year-old woman died in a pedestrian accident on Springdale Street at Bolsa Avenue on Thursday.
 
According to Huntington Beach Police, the fatal pedestrian crash took place around 5:00 a.m.
 
Upon responding, officers found a female resident of Huntington Beach who had been struck by a black 2018 Ford F150 moments prior. Due to the nature of the crash, the woman suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
 
As for the 51-year-old man driving the Ford, he did not show signs of impairment during the investigation, leading officers to rule out DUI or intoxication.
 
At this time, the police have not confirmed the details and liabilities of the accident. However, they have learned that the accident happened while the woman was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk.
