VICTORVILLE, CA (November 10, 2021) — Emilio Rodriguez died in a pedestrian accident on Rodeo Drive at Lariat Road, Monday evening.
 
According to reports, the fatal pedestrian crash occurred around 5:08 p.m. For unknown reasons, 76-year-old Rodriguez began walking westbound on Rodeo Drive, yet outside of a marked crosswalk. Subsequently, a driver in a northbound vehicle struck him.
 
Shortly after, Victorville deputies responded and interviewed the driver who remained cooperative with authorities.
 
Meanwhile, emergency personnel transported Rodriguez to Loma Linda hospital where he died at 7:03 p.m.
