74-Year-Old Man Killed in Alhambra Pedestrian Crash on Valley Boulevard

 
ALHAMBRA, CA (February 7, 2022) — A 74-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on Valley Boulevard near Cabrillo Avenue on Tuesday.
 
According to Alhambra police officers, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 9:38 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver heading eastbound on Valley Boulevard lost control. Subsequently, the vehicle veered onto the southbound sidewalk and struck the Los Angeles man.
 
Following the crash, paramedics responded to the scene and tended to the victim who died moments later.
 
Meanwhile, the 62-year-old Alhambra driver stayed for authorities and cooperated with the investigation.
 
At this time, reports have not released the leading cause of the crash and the identity of the victim. However, an ongoing investigation should clarify any outstanding details.
