CARLSBAD, CA (February 14, 2022) — A 74-year-old suffered injuries in a bicycle accident on El Camino Real on Friday, February 11.
 
According to the Carlsbad Police Department, the incident happened around 1:15 p.m. on El Camino Real between Carlsbad Village Drive and Marron Road.
 
Police said that the crash knocked the bicyclist unconscious. Police officers arrived and found him with serious injuries in the northbound lanes of El Camino Real near Hosp Way.
