SAN DIEGO, CA (December 31, 2021) – Paramedics rushed two people to the hospital following a rollover accident in the 300 block of Nimitz Boulevard on December 23.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at approximately 9:43 PM.
 
Based on a report, the 73-year-old man and his 80-year-old female passenger were westbound on Nimitz in a black Honda Accord at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, their vehicle struck the raised median and a light standard. Subsequently, it overturned in the lanes.
 
As a result, both victims suffered major injuries. Emergency crews transported them to the hospital for treatment.
