70-Year-Old Man Dies in Tracy Pedestrian Accident on Tracy Boulevard

 
TRACY, CA (February 15, 2022) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Tracy Boulevard near Valpico Road on Sunday morning.
 
According to the Tracy Police Department, the fatal pedestrian crash happened around 9:35 a.m. For unknown reasons, a 70-year-old man began walking in the middle of the road when an oncoming driver struck him.
 
Soon after, authorities and paramedics responded to try and save his life. However, despite these efforts, the elder died from his injuries.
 
As for the driver, he or she remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
