Johan Orozco Dies in San Jacinto Bicycle Accident on Bryce Canyon Way

 
SAN JACINTO, CA (January 20, 2022) — A boy died in a bicycle crash on Bryce Canyon Way near Ramona Expressway on Wednesday, January 5.
 
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department identified the victim as 7-year-old Johan Orozco.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal crash happened around 11:30 a.m. Orozco was riding his bike in the 400 block of Bryce Canyon Way when he was hit by a Dodge Ram 3500 hauling a utility trailer.
 
Although further details of the accident are not immediately available, police believe the truck was traveling westbound at the time of the accident.
 
Due to the accident, Orozco suffered fatal injuries.
 
The driver, whose name has not been released, remained on the scene and was not arrested. However, an investigation remains to confirm what had led to the crash.
