Speeding E-Bike Hits Boy on Torrey Pines State Beach in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 4, 2022) – Police confirmed that a 6-year-old boy suffered injuries after an e-bike struck him on Torrey Pines State Beach on June 29.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Marks Avenue shortly before 4:00 AM.
 
Based on a report, the boy was playing in a sand castle with his friends prior to the crash. At the same time, two young boys on e-bikes were going fast on the boy’s direction. Then, one of the boys lost control of his e-bike and struck the victim.
 
As a result, the victim suffered cuts and bruises on his body. The boy’s mother took him the Rady Children’s hospital for treatment.
