6 Hurt in Street Carnival Hit-and-Run Crash on Trinity Street in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (November 14, 2022) — Six people suffered a range of injuries in a street carnival hit-and-run accident on Trinity Street near 38th Street Saturday evening.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the hit-and-run crash took place around 8:20 p.m. For unknown reasons, a driver in a Porsche Cayenne SUV disrupted a convivial street festival, swarmed with crowds of about 2,000 people. The suspect reportedly plowed into the crowd near Trinity Street and Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard. Subsequently, people screamed and ran in all directions after hearing the crash. Rather than trying to help the victims, the Porsche driver fled in the car, which sustained visible major damage.
 
Roughly six people, between the ages of 30 and 50, suffered a range of injuries. Upon arriving, paramedics brought them to nearby hospitals.
