6 Passengers, Pedestrians Hurt after Speeding SUV Collides with Muni Bus in San Francisco’s Marina District

 
MARINA DISTRICT, CA (June 21, 2022) – Six people were injured in a bus accident on Lombard Street in San Francisco’s Marina District on Saturday morning, June 18.
 
The accident happened around 11:00 a.m. at Fillmore Street. According to the San Francisco Police Department, a white Chevrolet Suburban SUV was speeding when it collided into the Muni bus at the intersection.
 
The impact of the crash injured six people, including riders and pedestrians. Responding paramedics transported the injured patients to a hospital in unknown conditions.
 
The driver of the SUV has been detained and an investigation is ongoing.
