6 Firefighters Hurt near Old State Golden Highway in Castaic

 
CASTAIC, CA (June 9, 2022) — Six firefighters were injured near Golden State Highway and Templin Highway during a fire training exercise on Tuesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 11:15 a.m. For unknown reasons, six Los Angeles County firefighters suffered minor to major injuries during a fire training exercise.
 
It appears the firefighters suffered burns of various severities.
 
Soon after, the LA County Fire Department responded to treat the victims, eventually transporting one of the victims to a hospital.
