BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 6, 2022) – A 5-year-old was seriously injured after being run over by car on Winter Crest Drive in Bakersfield on Wednesday evening.
 
The accident happened around 7:45 p.m. on June 1 just near Seasons Drive. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the child fell out of a family sedan and got run over buy it.
 
As a result, the boy suffered major injuries. Responding paramedics rushed him to Kern Medical in an unknown condition.
 
At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
