5 People Hurt in Cameron Park Solo-Car Crash on Highway 50

 
CAMERON PARK, CA (January 24, 2022) — Five people suffered minor to major injuries in a solo-car accident on Highway 50 near Cameron Park Drive on Saturday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-vehicle crash happened around 6:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, a car crashed in an unknown fashion, leaving five people hurt.
 
Of those injured, a 19-year-old woman and a 1-year-old infant suffered critical injuries after being ejected.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics airlifted another female passenger to UC Davis Medical Center with moderate injuries. A 3-year-old passenger suffered moderate injuries while the male driver suffered minor injuries.
 
At this time, officers have not arrested the male driver as of yet. Although, they believe alcohol may have caused the cause of this crash.
