At Least 1 Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Accident on 405 Freeway near Sepulveda Boulevard

 
SHERMAN OAKS, CA (May 3, 2022) – Four people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on 405 Freeway, early Monday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on May 2 at about 6:45 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, at least five vehicles collided near Sepulveda Boulevard.
 
The impact of the collision causes a white pickup truck to overturn.
 
Paramedics rendered aid to four injured victims. One victim was later transported to Northridge Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Responders later issued a SigAlert to make way for clearing operations.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
