4 Hurt in Head-On Accident on Highway 154 in Los Olivos

 
LOS OLIVOS, CA (June 14, 2022) — Four people were injured in a head-on crash on Highway 154 near Foxen Canyon Road on Saturday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the head-on crash happened around 10:50 a.m. For unknown reasons, a 69-year-old Los Olivos man driving a Chevy Silverado drifted into the eastbound lanes from the westbound lanes.
 
As a result, the Chevy Silverado crashed into an eastbound Chevy Blazer, driven by a 37-year-old San Francisco man.
 
As a result of the crash, the two drivers, as well as a 37-year-old passenger in the Blazer, sustained critical.
 
In addition, a 38-year-old from San Francisco riding in the Chevy Blazer suffered minor injuries.
 
Shortly after, a County Air Support Unit’s Copter 3 landed at the scene to airlift the critically injured patients to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. Meanwhile, paramedics brought the others to Cottage Hospital by ground ambulance.
 
At this time, investigators have not confirmed the leading cause of the crash. However, an ongoing investigation should clarify more details.
