Bus Crashes into Dozen Vehicles at Daly City Serramonte Center

 
DALY CITY, CA (December 5, 2022) – Four people were injured in a 16-vehicle accident at the Serramonte Center in Daly City Friday morning.
 
The accident happened around 11:50 a.m. on December 2. According to officials, a SamTrans bus was turning into the shopping center when the driver lost control, jumped a curb and plowed through the Target south side parking lot. It then crashed into over a dozen vehicles.
 
A van hit the row of shopping carts and the shopping carts hit another vehicle, pushing it about two feet into the light pole.
 
North County Fire Authority responded to the scene and found four injured people.
 
The four patients were transported to San Francisco General Hospital, one of them was in critical condition.
 
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
