Car Accident on Clay Street in San Francisco, Injuring 4 and Displaces 15

 
NOB HILL, CA (June 14, 2022) – Four people were injured and 15 others were forced from their homes after a car accident on Clay Street in San Francisco’s Nob Hill neighborhood on Friday night.
 
The accident happened around 9:00 p.m. on June 10. According to the San Francisco Fire Department, the car had crashed into a residential building in the 1500 block of Clay Street. It then severed a gas line and started a fire.
 
As a result, two people suffered major injuries and another two had minor injuries.
 
Crews were able to get the fire under control by around 10:15 p.m. Red Cross helped those 15 people who were displaced.
 
At this time, no arrests were made. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
 
Police asked anyone with further information to call them at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 and start the message with SFPD.
