PERRIS, CA (March 2, 2021) – Four people sustained injuries in a head-on accident on Cajalco Road, Sunday morning.
 
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the incident happened at about 5:20 a.m. Due to unknown circumstances, two vehicles collided head-on in the 17000 block of Cajalco Road.
 
Emergency crews rushed one person to a hospital with critical injuries. Meanwhile, three other victims sustained minor to moderate injuries and were also transported to area hospitals. Authorities did not release the names of the victims.
 
Responders later shut down Cajalco Road to make way for clearing operations and an investigation.
 
Officers continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
