BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 7, 2021) — A 3-year-old boy and a woman suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Chester Avenue on Tuesday, June 1.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, at around 10 a.m., they received reports of a hit-and-run incident. Officers rushed to the intersection of Chester Avenue and 10th Street.
 
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a woman and a 3-year-old boy in the roadway with moderate injuries.
 
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male wearing a hat. They describe the suspect’s vehicle as a gray or blue, 2000’s model Honda four-door sedan.
