Firefighters Rescue Three Women after Late Evening DUI Crash on Lake Boulevard in Redding

 
REDDING, CA (February 15, 2023) – Three women were trapped in a DUI Crash at Lake Boulevard and Magnums Way in north Redding late Monday evening.
 
The crash happened just before midnight on February 13. According to the Redding Police Department, a Honda sedan carrying four women had crashed into a parked car. The impact caused the sedan to roll over on its side.
 
Firefighters had cut the roof off the car to get the three passengers out. One of the passengers suffered a broken arm.
 
Police said they found empty liquor bottles and believe that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
 
It is unclear if there were arrests made at the scene. Further investigation is underway.
