3 Juveniles Hurt in DUI Crash on Eastside Road in Redding

 
REDDING, CA (June 17, 2024) — Three teenagers were injured in a DUI solo-car accident on Eastside Road near Wyndham Lane.
 
According to Redding Police officers, the single-car crash happened around 5:30 a.m. Sunday. For DUI-related reasons, a northbound driver of a 1997 Toyota Camry lost control. Subsequently, the fast-moving vehicle left Eastside Road and crashed.
 
Subsequently, Shascom received an iPhone crash detection alert, prompting the police to respond to find three 14-year-olds with moderate to severe injuries. Paramedics transported all three to a hospital for medical attention.
