DUI Driver Seriously Injures Three Pedestrians on South Walton Avenue in Yuba City

 
YUBA CITY, CA (February 11, 2023) – Three pedestrians were seriously injured in a DUI crash on South Walton Avenue in Yuba City Monday afternoon on February 6.
 
The crash happened around 2:00 p.m. at Camino de Flores. According to the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office, 49-year-old Chelsea Center was driving in the area when she hit four people.
 
A grandmother, an 18-month-old, a 5-year-old and another woman were getting ready to cross the street when they were struck. Three of them suffered major injuries and the grandmother was in critical condition.
 
Authorities determined that Center was driving under the influence and arrested her on multiple charges.
 
An investigation into this crash is ongoing.
