Minor Injuries Reported after Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 108/49 near Rawhide Road in Jamestown

 
JAMESTOWN, CA (June 22, 2022) – Three people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 108/49 on Tuesday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on June 21. For reasons still under investigation, two vehicles collided near Rawhide Road.
 
As per reports, three people suffered minor injuries. An ambulance later arrived at the scene to take at least one of the victims to a nearby hospital. Authorities did not release updates about the victims’ conditions.
 
Responders temporarily closed the eastbound lane to make way for clearing operations and an investigation.
 
The CHP Sonora Unit continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
